All good things must come to an end: Metal Méan 2020 will mark the end of the festival.
Since the beginning, we’ve always been but a group of enthusiastic volunteers.
It is our passion that has driven us for the last fifteen years.
They say love lasts for three years. We’ve been far beyond.
This decision was taken for numerous reasons: as we want to stay true to our motto, “The more festivals change, the more we stay the same”, we must admit that the festival has been growing, which implies increasingly a certain form of professionalization.

We are proud of what we’ve achieved : we’ve invited bands we love, often from far away for exclusive shows in the small village of Méan, we’ve worked together with local producers and community projects, we’ve seen incredible concerts, we’ve experienced intense emotions, we’ve laughed, we’ve struggled… but we’ve also reached the end of the tunnel and we refuse to be stuck in a routine.

The whole crew would like to thank all the dedicated attendants who have largely contributed to the excellent reputation of the festival as well as our remarkable crew of volunteers (more than a hundred) who worked incredibly hard each and every year.We are going to miss all of you, but before that, we are working relentlessly to make a phenomenal Metal Méan 2020.

We will never say it enough: Thank You!!!
